Etelätär Innovation specialises in deploying and operating next-gen wayfinding, tracking, parking and fleet solutions linking data, persons, things, vehicles and infrastructures.

Powered by the Beehive technology, our portfolio of next-gen solutions connects smartphones with IoT proximity technologies to guide and track persons accurately and/or to share vehicles or parking spots. In addition, we green mobility by operating premium electro-mobility fleets and re-manufacturing retired lithium-ion batteries into high-quality, low-cost energy store systems.

Having invested EUR 5 million in R&D since 2016, we are a founding member of the Smart Transportation Alliance (STA) and co-founders at ALTABATT+, a company re-manufacturing retired EV batteries. In addition, we hold a strategic partnership with leading Japanese engineering company OC Global and run a Centre of Excellence for Collaborative Mobility together with UAX University.

Our name? We find inspiration in Etelätär, the Daughter of the Southern Rain, the Goddess bringing water to thirsty people in summertime according to the Kalevala – the Finnish national epic -, one of the most beautiful sagas ever put on paper.
